Carson went from being an undesirable pupil to getting scholastic honors and finally attending medical college. As a health care provider, he became manager of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital at age 33 and attained popularity for their groundbreaking work breaking up conjoined twins. He retired from medication in 2013, as well as 2 years later on he joined politics, building a bid to be the Republican candidate for U.S. president.
